The Embassy of Portugal in Rome ensures the diplomatic representation of the Portuguese Government in Italy.

The headquarters in Rome is made up of the consular and agricultural sections, and also carries out cultural activities.


In Milan the economic and commercial section and the section dedicated to tourism operate.


The Ambassador of Portugal is also accredited in Malta, Albania and San Marino, also serving as Permanent Representative to

the following United Nations organizations based in Rome: Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Food Programme

(WFP) and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
